CLeaR, short for Causal Learning and Reasoning, is a leading ML conference started by the stalwarts of the field to bring together the causal inference and machine learning communities. Now in its third year, the conference will take place at Carnesale Commons, UCLA, on April 1-3, 2024.

This one-day symposium explores the effect of artificial intelligence on research. The event brings together speakers from across UCLA to provide a multifaceted perspective on the role of AI in academic research. It takes place on Thursday, February, 15, 2024, 8:15 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., in-person at CNSI or remote via livestream.

The 2023 Amazon Fellows will present their research during “Lightning Talks” which takes place January 25, 2024, 4 p.m., in Boelter 3400. The research spans machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and beyond. Each fellow will wrap up their presentation with a brief Q&A session.
